From the get-go Leixlip threatened the Pike defence and opened the scoring after ten minutes when Conor Kavanagh slotted home after good work from Albert Edet.

Pike shortly were presented with a chance to equalise from the Peno spot but sent the kick wide. Leixlip soon made it two nil when great work on the right from Sam resulted in a cross to the back post which was slotted home by Josh flood.

Leixlip showed great attitude and controlled the second half with a great finish from Alex to make it 3 and a final strike from Kavanagh to notch his second of the game.

A great performance from the entire squad from Alex in nets to 5 lads from the bench who all played their part when introduced .
