Sean Purcell who is arguably one of the best players to ever play for the Hoops being presented with his 50th Anniversary Plaque from Leixlip United Executive Member, Joe McGing. 

On top of his footballing ability Sean managed the first LUFC schoolboy which played in 1970/71 DDSL U14 League. He also served for many years on the executive committee and after finishing with the senior side played with over 35 team until his early 50's. 

All in all, a true Hoops legend.
