Busy summer season ahead for our Ladies Teams
Leixlip Ladies are currently active in their summer season.
Plenty of football is still to be played as the season has just kicked off!
We have two teams in DWSL with a large number of female players joining and returning to play for the club. We have two fresh looking teams in the league this year.
Some of our players have left for pastures new abroad. Plenty new faces have come in and brighten up the teams. They will be playing alongside returning senior team players.
A large number of u19s girls team are either playing second season in senior football, while others in the team are now playing their first year of senior football alongside senior players and under new manager for the season.
New players are always welcome.! Matches are played on Mondays and training is on Thursdays.

So far this summer season:
in the league cup Leixlip Ladies won their division with an amazing 5 wins out of 5 games.
The main leagues have now begun and will run until September. The teams are also involved in Cup competitions. Both teams have gotten off to good starts in their leagues, one with a draw and the other with a win in their opening games.
The outlook for both teams is very promising!!!
